Introduction
The Nissan Z32 300ZX is one of the most visually striking Japanese sports cars ever built. Z32 received a facelift in 1999 in the Japanese marker, but a tiny feature was missing to make that facelift complete. Polar Engineering's Composite Headlight Lenses are a direct replacement solution manufactured via polycarbonate injection molding, delivering crystal-clear clarity, UV resistance, and a cleaner, more modern look right out of the box. And yes — they also fit the Lamborghini Diablo.
Why These Lenses?
The factory Z32 lenses were a product of their era — fluted design, mounting points for alignment tools. The JDM 99 Spec facelift improved things, but Polar Engineering took the concept further: clean, flute-free polycarbonate lenses produced with injection molding for consistent, repeatable quality every time.
The goals were straightforward — make a direct replacement that looks better, lasts longer, and installs without modification.

Optional HID Projector Retrofit
For those who want to go all the way, Polar Engineering offers an optional HID projector retrofit using the Morimoto 2.5" H1 Mini 9.0 Bi-Xenon projector — the latest generation from one of the top retrofit suppliers in the industry. The projector installs into the factory Z32 headlight housing via an adapter kit and is visually undetectable from the outside.
Available color temperatures: 3000K, 3800K, 4000K, 5000K, and 6000K — from warm golden to crisp daylight white.
Important: Retrofit brackets are designed for USDM Z32 headlight housings only — not compatible with JDM housings at this time. D2S projectors were tested and ruled out due to length constraints and no measurable performance improvement over the Mini 9.0.
